Mittelberg Village
Mittelberg is the German name of the village (Both German and Italian are spoken in this area). In the valley behind it you find the town Bolzano, and the river Adige, which is running 410 km south, down to the Adriatic Sea. The mountain behind the valley is the Mount Sciliar, well known for hiking and skiing. Going further up the valley will take you into Austria.
